About

A New Bridge for China–Latin America Scientific Collaboration

The China–Latin America Mathematics Center (CLAMC) is one of the three bodies of the International Center for Mathematical Research and Application (ICMRA). It aims to promote collaboration and support the development of mathematics in Latin America and China.

To achieve this goal, CLAMC has established programs that encourage interaction between researchers in both regions. As of January 2026, it has two main programs: the Visiting Scholars Program and the Annual Conferences Program.

The Visiting Scholars Program provides support for travel and accommodation for mathematicians from Latin America to visit partner institutions in China. The Annual Conferences Program consists of two conferences held each year, one in Latin America and one in China.
